Kyle is in my prayers. I hope that everyone will be thinking of him right now. Here's his latest post:

So I had quite the scary experience this week with my heart. I was at my soccer game and all of a sudden, my heart beat raced up to 220, an average being around 60. I had to get my heartbeat restarted and it was quite the scary experience. i went home yesterday to St. Louis to get it checked out, but won't really know much for a while. the only real option that i was told was to perform an invasive procedure where they would puncture all of my veins and then stick a cathader into my heart anmd eliminate the elctrical problem. This would completely suck, but at the same time, i just want it over with. Later. I will keep this updated. [Look at the Blog's on Her

COMM 228:
Time to grab the bull by the horns. There are only a couple of weeks left in the regular semester. Most of you are making good progress on your projects, but several groups need to check in with me. It is important that I know what you have done and what remains to be done. If you want to schedule time to use the mini-CD recorder, the iMac in my office, or the rental iMac in your dorm room, please let me know soon so I can schedule it--check my online calendar for available times.
We will meet as a class on Monday, April 26 and Friday, April 30. Each group will be responsible for bringing an audio CD and playing a selection of your edited or unedited interview material for the rest of the class; you should be prepared to explain your project briefly, and to report on your progress. We will also meet on the last day of class, Monday, May 3.
