COMM 228:
WE WILL NOT HAVE CLASS TOMORROW (FRIDAY).
We will have class on Monday of next week (last day of class). On Monday, be prepared to play a selection of your radio-shows-in-progress. Remember, they are due in final form a week from this Monday. Even with the interviews and music loaded up on Garage Band or Pro Tools, these programs will take several hours of intense editing on your part. If you do not take the initiative to schedule ample time with me to see your program through to completion, I will have no compunction about giving you a low grade. The workload for this class has not been inordinately heavy--in fact just the opposite. I have only required regular blog posts and one radio show. I have been working very hard these last several weeks, and so have some of you. Others, however, have not done much towards completing your projects. We have, more or less, a week and a half left before I give grades. I will not give incompletes, as I will no longer be an employee of Denison after this semester. The reason I am canceling class tomorrow is so I can work with students on their projects. I still have open slots for tomorrow, and I will be willing to come in this weekend if necessary. Next week I have a mostly open calendar. Check my calendar online and schedule some time to work with me. This is the last time I will blog about this. The ball is in your court.
