In your analysis of the personal ad (due by class time tomorrow) you should focus on ethos. Out of all of the possible things that a person could say about him- or herself, why these specific things? What sort of character does he or she construct? And what sort of audience? Also, pay attention to any antitheses and to the specificity of the language.
