Ivan's dad gives an hilarious, and mostly sanguine account of our Comm Studies blogosphere from a parental point of view.
I think my informal style isn't so different from that of a lot of profs, though having it all documented on the WWW is novel and some might even say risky. As a sage once remarked, "Everyone pees in the pool, but not from the high dive!"
On the other hand, if there's an advantage to being "non-tenure track" faculty it's the ability to take more pedagogical chances. ;)
